Discussion board where members can learn more about Qlik Sense Data Connectivity.
Hi,
We have recently transition from Client Managed Qlik Sense Enterprise to Qlik Saas Enterprise and we have managed to migrate and create connection for all but 1 of our services.
We currently have a data source (SQL Server) accessible using a site-to-site VPN with a 3rd party provider and having discussed with them we are unable to white list Qlik Saas IP addresses with them to create a direct connection.
They have proposed we create a public facing endpoint within our own network to connect to, to send the request from Qlik and via routing it will query and send the results back to Qlik.
Anyone have any experiencing in setting this type of connection up? Where to start?
As a fall back, we will use the Qlik Data Transfer tool to build the app on the our Client Managed Qlik Saas (which we will be retaining with limited professional licences) and sync it to the cloud but we would prefer to be able to query within Qlik Saas using a connection.
Thanks
I haven't tried it - but what about qlik Forts?

Hi @jmcy2408 ,
Qlik Data Transfer is probably the easiest solution for the moment.
You might consider Qlik Forts, but it'll depend on whether you'll be able to setup the vpn at the hypervisor level.
We'll be coming with new solutions for integrating local data during this year, so there might be something that will work for you.
Cheers!
