Standard Connectors Missing in QlikSense Enterprise

synopsis below:-

OS Running Windows Server 2016 Standard

After installation of Qlik Sense Enterprise February 2020 (ver 13.62), When i login into the Hub, the Standard Qlik Connectors (Redshift, Oracle,MySQL,Apache Drill,Postgressql,Teradata,Snowflake,Presto and others) are  Missing in Data Sources Section even though I have logged in as a RootAdmin   (Screenshot:Pic1)

When i checked the Drive (C:) where Sense is Installed I am able to see all the Connectors in the below Location

Location where Standard Connectors are available :-

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data\

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data\QvOdbcConnectorPackage

(Screenshot:Pic2 & Pic3)

problem statement below:-

Even though the connectors are available in the server location above, what is stopping the Connectors to get displayed in the QlikSense Hub as part of Data Sources, even though i have logged into hub as a RootAdmin

Is there any additional software to be installed in the OS Running Windows Server 2016 Standard

Kindly help in understand the root-cause and how the same can be resolved?

Regards

Jay

After lots of  trail and error methods on re-installation, The standard connectors were missing, because after the Installation , I had accepted to use the Qlik DataMarket feature at the time of Licensing the Qliksense Enterprise App

As the company which i work for does not allow internet from the external sites, and also i had enabled the DataMarket , it was indefinitely trying to fetch the connectors  from the Internet via DataMarket, Hence causing the problem as below in Pic1

As a resolution if your company allows internet from the external sites, kindly enable this awesome feature, if not like in the situation i am in☹️, please don't enable this feature at the time of Licensing the Qliksense Enterprise App (Screenshot:Pic4)

The moment you don't click on Qlik Datamarket at the time of Licensing the Qliksense Enterprise App,  the standard connectors appear in the Data Sources Tab  as it is not calling it from the QlikDataMarket(Screenshot:Pic5)

That being said, glad to tell that this issue is RESOLVED

Can someone from Qlik Support chime in on this?  what could cause the data connections to disappear after an upgrade or patch install? as described in this thread.

and how to resolve this issue, should it happen. thanks!

Does anybody has information if it is possible to just open some port or whitelist address in firewall for Data Market connectors functionality without opening the whole access to internet?

This qlik guide  should help answer your question!

Paraphrasing from the article -

"If you have restricted internet access, you will not be able to reach the Qlik DataMarket server. To gain access, you must add the Qlik DataMarket domain to an allow list of allowable domains. The DataMarket domain is datamarket-api.qlik.com."
