Upgrade path from Qlik Sense November 2023 to current, what complications should I expect
We are trying to plan for an upgrade to our QlikSense environments, and they are currently on the November 23 Patch 12 (14.159.18) version. If we were to upgrade to current version, would we have any major issues to keep in mind, or need to update/change anything prior to upgrading?
Also, what would an upgrade path look like? It has been a while since we did this, and our main resource is no longer with us. These are the questions I know to ask, but I'm sure there are items I don't know about:
Do we need to uninstall all of our currently installed patches before upgrading
Is it recommended to completely remove QlikSense Nov. 2023 and go to a higher version, or do we keep up to Patch 12 and add in any new patches since then?
When installing new patches, do I have to install every patch, or does only the most-recent patch contain a roll-up of all the changes from previous patches?
Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.
To further expand my question after looking at the Qlik downloads, it would appear a more specific question would be, if we were to upgrade from our current Qlik Sense Enterprise Nov. 2023, should we stick with v14.xx versions, or go all the way to v15 with the Qlik Sense Enterprise May 2026 version?
