Use Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse as source in a Qlik Cloud App

Hello everyone,

We are looking to retrieve data from a Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse source into a Qlik Cloud Analytics application.

Currently, it appears that the only available method is through a Data Gateway and ODBC connection. While this process is functional, the performance is suboptimal. We require a direct cloud-to-cloud connection.

Is this feature on the development roadmap? Could you provide us with some visibility on the schedule?

Thank you very much.

Hi!

Regarding future developments, Qlik has announced support for Microsoft Fabric through its Cloud Data Integration platform, enabling real-time data ingestion and transformation services directly into Fabric. However, this announcement primarily focuses on data integration capabilities rather than direct analytics connections.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information on upcoming features and enhancements, it's advisable to consult the official Qlik and Microsoft Fabric roadmaps. Microsoft has published a Fabric Roadmap, which provides insights into planned features and their expected release timelines.
