What is the sybtax to use URL to a net (k) folder contains pictures

Hi,

I connected an excel table to my application. One of the columns contains url address of a net (k:\stations\images) where are pictures of stations.

All works good except the URL address. The application opens a new TAB but blanked. Nothing displayed.

the URL's syntax:

=if(STATIONID=20004, PICTUREURL, 'K:/Stations/Survey_Pictures/Round_37/20001(1).jpg')

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Paul

Hi,

The subject us to show station profile including its picture. I have an Excel table with all data and an URL to the images folder, with an inner address (k:/stations).

I tried 2 ways:

a) To use the Table Object where its dimention is the URL text field (loaded from the excel table). The result is a new  blank tab. When I use the same link manualy on chrome it warks and get a new tab with the right image.

b) To use Text/Image Object where its measure is the URL using the function '<img> URLFIELD'. Don't work.

Any suggestion?

Thanks,

Paul

Hi,

I use the table object with one column.

My column function  is:

='file:///z:/Stations/Survey_Pictures/Round_37/20001.jpg'

Representation: URL

When I click the field it opens  a new tab on my chrome but blank. I copied this link and used manually on a new chrome tab and get the picture.

Thanks,

Paul
