App is not valid for distribution

I have a QSEoW deployment from which im trying to distribute an app to a QSEoK deployment. It seems to connect fine and it has managed to transfer extensions etc. When I try to distribute an app I get the following error message in the AppDistributionService log: App "e5575b7a-7270-474e-9ed9-93622ddf625d" is not valid for distribution. I'm using Auth0 as my IdP. What could cause this issue?

Hi there,

1. Have you created your cloud deployment in /api/msc/deployments on your Windows server ?

2. Have you created the distribution policy in the QMC on your Windows server ?

3. Have you created and set the custom property on the app you want to distribute ?

Best regards,

Thiebaud

Hi,

I found i had this error when my distribution policy rule was invalid for the app in question. Once i amended the Distribution policy apps were distributed to Qlik Cloud Services seamlessly.

In our use case the QSEoW environment is being used for the reloads only so we created a stream called Qlik Cloud Services and set the distribution policy to distribute any apps within that stream.

After doing so the app was distributed without any issues.
