Control Panel displays the version of the initial release even if a patch is applied

Hi,

Qlik recommends to use Control Panel to find out versions of the products installed

It seems however applying a patch doesn't update version information.

Tested with August 2023 and November 2023.

Any clues how to find the actual version ? Checking file dates and sizes maybe 🙂 It is somewhat important to get that information in a convenient way to check vulnerability issues.

Kind regards.

@tevkar1 This should be visible otherwise please go to Hub and click about page to see the actual version connected to patch.

Or, Check in QMC bottom right and findout connected to patch in your support portal product downloads section.

@Anil_Babu_Samineni thanks for the info.

However, this is a workaround depending on Qlik components. If you have multiple nodes and Windows software involved, you should be ablet to get proper version information by inspecting Control Panel -> Programs, as Qlik also recommends.. It doesn't happening here.
