Data Connection cant access Windows Share

Hej,

I'm in a multi-node setup. I'm on the Central Node where I can access a network share in windows explorer. In Qlik, when trying to setup a folder data-connection, I'm not able to access the same share that I can access in windows explorer. Even if the share is shared by everyone, any ideas or pointers?

Thanks in advance

br

Paul

Hello @pauljohansson ,

Thanks for the prompt response.

How do you ensure you will execute the Telemetry Dashboard on the central node? Are you accessing a particular proxy that only has 1 engine associated with it?

If you are no using domain users, what kind of users are you using as you said you can open such shared via windows on the central node.

Cheers,

Albert

Hello @pauljohansson ,

Thanks for posting.

Is the shared folder accessible from all nodes?

What happens if you explicitly add the service account on the shared folder?

I would start by checking such points.

Cheers,

Albert

hej @Albert_Candelario

No, i'm not able to access to access the share from all nodes. But im able to access it via windows on the Central Node - When I want to execute the Telemetry Dashboard.

The share is shared with everyone, since there are no domain users, im not able to share it to the same account as running service on the central node. any ideas on how to proceed?

thanks in advance,

Hej @Albert_Candelario

Yes,  Thanks to you I found it! I was RDP on the Central node BUT going QMC via the front-ends. What a stupid mistake.
