Hi everybody,
We have a server infrastructure made up of a central node and a rim node.
We already have an application (App A) that consumes many server resources and affects all other applications of the server.
To solve that, what we want to do is that app A can only be accessed from the RIM node, disabling access to the app from the central node.
Is it possible to do this? because not being able to modify or disable the ResourcesOnCentralNode balance rule makes it impossible for me. Is there any workaround solution?
Thanks!
You'll need two rim nodes afaik. See https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Sense-Documents/Using-Rules-to-segregate-Consumption-from-Develop...
Yes you can make a specific app load at the same node all the time.
Here is a link to one help page about this.
And here is a link to an article and video about the subject.

Thanks for the answer @Maria_Halley !
But I already know how access to an app from multiple nodes, my question is about how to disable the access to an app from the central node.
Thanks again!
It is always hard to answer these kind of questions without the full picture.
From what I understood, you want the app to never load on the Central Node. That you can archive using the load balancing rules.
Can you expand a bit more on "disable access to the app from the central node"?
