License requirements for Qlik Sense SaaS provisioning
Hello,
I have a question regarding the requirements for automated provisioning of Qlik Sense SaaS.
In the help it is stated that P2 or higher license is required, however according to Microsoft licensing requirements, P1 can also be auto-provisioned.
https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Admin/auto-provisioning-...
-----------------------------------------------------------
Microsoft Entra ID with a P2 subscription or higher (formerly Microsoft Azure Active Directory Premium P2)
-----------------------------------------------------------
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us//security/business/microsoft-entra-pricing
-----------------------------------------------------------
Identity governance>Automated user provisioning to SaaS apps>on
-----------------------------------------------------------
Why do we need a P2 or higher license?
This is a costly area, so I would appreciate the information.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I've received new information!
Based on the information you provided, I contacted customer support again and they investigated it as a documentation bug.
The reason it was P2 was because it used to be a Requirement on the Entra ID side. However the requirement on the Entra ID side has been updated as P1, so now it is fine for P1 and the help is updated as well.

I really appreciate your help!
Best regards

Hi,
I was looking for the same information, and I've the same conclusion as you.
I've searched info in documenation of other tools (TeamViewer, Monday.com, Bitwarden, etc.) and they all use P1 for SCIM provisioning, as described in the Microsoft doc.
I think it's a good idea to open a case, and have a definitive answer to this.
Kind regards

Hello,
Thanks for sharing the information.
Good to know other tools information.
Actually, I already opened a case with the Japanese support, but they told me that they don't have the information and asked me to ask here.
I don't know if I can get any clarification, but if I find out anything I will share it. Thank you once again!
Best regards
