Local users for Qlik Sense Enterprise login

Hi,

I am on a Qlik Sense Enterprise on-premise deployment. I have a single node.

Can I use local users (local users created on the Qlik Sense server) to grant them access to the apps?

How should I configure the User Directory Connector to read and keep this users synchronized?

Do I need a specifiy proxy to authenticate these users?

Thanks

Fabiano

Windows will do the authentication if you setup the Virtual Proxy for Windows Authentication. You then logon with ".\username" and the password you had set. This will enable you to assign a license to that user as well, which you then will enable you to edit apps. App access you can control by the username with security rules or section access.

best regards

Sebastian

Thanks @Sebastian_Linser ,

I followed your instructions and got a correct login for my local users.

I noticed that they can create apps and access the development hub. Can I prevent them to have this privileges? As far as I understand I think I need to create specific Security Rules (or edit the Rules that are already in my environment).

Regards

Fabiano
