Map Qliq Sense nodes to 3-tier design

our project is planning to use Qlik Sense as Data Analysis Tools. but how do we map the different Qlik Sense Nodes to the three tier design (db, app, web)? especially for web tier and app tier, i take medium size as  an example here

it is not at all clear why you need a 3-node cluster? start with a single node cluster and then scale out as needed by adding more nodes to the cluster

basically  we need install qlik sense on-prem, we have different network segments, for end user, it can only access to web server, cannot access application server, so in this case, which server i should install for the first single node? note that web server got no rights to access database.
