Migrating applications backwards into an older version of Qlik Sense?

Is it possible to move applications from a newer version of Qlik Sense to an older version? For example, taking an application built in the June 2018 release and moving it to a server running April 2018?

Interested on whether Qlik will allow the move at all, and what the risks involved might be.

It should be possible technically; risk is the changes in version (i think this is especially true on UI)
i would test on on April 2018 desktop and move only when verified

The main risk is that the newer functionalities won't work in the old version of the software.

Apart from that, it should be possible to use the app. 
Of course, in case of specific design problems due to the downgrade to a version with fewer features, you won't be able to get support.

So, test it, and if it works it should be fine.
