Not able to Activate the Qlik Sense License

Hi Qlik Team,

I have installed Qlik Sense Enterprise in Test environment its working ok. Now I am deploying Qlik Sense on Production.

After install of Qlik Sense "Feb 2022" on production. I am trying to apply SLK and I am getting error "There was an error when getting license information from the license server"

I have tested accessing to "https://license.qlikcloud.com" and I am getting  response "default backend - 404"

I have already referece to community and support page but not able get it worked.

I have added -porxy-uri in services.conf

I have added below line pg_hba.conf
     host all all ::/0 md5

And restarted all QS service still not able to get Qlik sense enterprise window SLK license activated.

Please look into this and advise.

Hi @krishnamajhi 

For licensing you don't need to change pg_hba.conf.

Looking at the description you have set it up to go trough a proxy.

Follow the steps from this article to see if the traffic goes trough and reach  https://license.qlikcloud.com

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/Qlik-Sense-with-a-Proxy-How-to-test-access-to-the-license-se...

If this test failed you will have to get in touch with your IT security team to allow access to https://license.qlikcloud.com (port 443) through your Proxy.

Dear All,

Thanks for Input. I have asked network team to trace the request. Then the network team has found proxy setting wrong on firewall side.  They fixed and asked to test back.

After that License activation is successful.

I wish  if there is tool which can tell where is the network is actually blocked. might be helpful.

Hi @krishnamajhi ,

Great news, the only things we have are the PowerShell test to test the connection.

If the connection failed your network team need investigate and found out why the traffic doesn't go trough.

You need to understand that we are not responsible for your network infrastructure and each infrastructure is different.
