Problems with downloads (Image / PDF / XLXS)

Hi

Since the April 2020 upgrade, is anyone else having issues with downloads not working correctly in Qlik Cloud SaaS?    We're using Enterprise.

We're sometimes getting:

  • the download xlsx / PDF / Image has no rows... even though you can clearly see them in the background prior to download.   You sometimes only get the column headers in the output.
  • Incorrect fields in the report. It had a Master Measure as a column in the xlsx output that wasn't even in that table.
  • Column names not appearing and showing the Master Measure set analysis formula.
  • Incorrect data in the report - like the set analysis wasn't working.  We've even added sheet Triggers to get around this and sometimes it will still export all rows.

The file isn't big (about 2MB) and it is doing it for multiple users across different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Brave). Everything is correct when you download the QVW and view in desktop version (which is also vApril 2020). It is difficult to replicate the errors when a user reports them ... and you often end up getting a different but similar error.  Is there some weird caching going on? I've got no idea what else to look for / test.

Appreciate any advice and suggestions for other things I can check and test for.

**Update: clearing browser cache does not resolve issue. It is not a volume thing - the table has 70 rows in it (when set analysis works) and about 4000 when it decides to ignore the set analysis.

Hi @sergio_loza, the bug was resolved in the June 2020 release.  We haven't had any issues since then.

Update: this appears to be a bug when using variables in Measures (including Master Measures).  It all works fine in the UI but it downloads a file with only the column headers.  This happens on all file types: Image, PDF, XLSX.

Issue has been escalated to Qlik.

Hello, were you able to get any feedback from Qlik on this item?
