QixPerformance logs not being transferred to archivedlogs folder


We are having issues with the archival of the QixPerformance logs.

when the active log file <node>_QixPerformance_Engine.txt in C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Engine\Trace gets larger than 8MB it is scratched and starts empty but a copy of the file is not written to the ArchivedLogs folder.

Other log files on the same node does not have this problem.


We currently have the QIX logging at INFO and we get 8MB rather quick.

Any idea how to solve this?

This is not how the product is designed to work so I would encourage engaging with Qlik Support.
