Qlik 3.1.4 - hub - The service did not respond or could not process request

Dears,

I am getting beat by Qlik.

I first installed and successfully configured Qlik using the default Windows Domain name. However, hosts accessing Qlik are Linux and they are not members of the Domain group. Then i found that Qlik limits the HTTP/HTTPS queries to the configured hostname (domain name). Any attempt to use Qlik by using IP Address will fail.

Then i decided to reinstall and use the IP Address instead of  the domain name. It gets installed. I am able to access /qmc and configure everything. However, it fails when i try to access the /hub context (Error: The service did not respond or could not process request).

I've attached a screenshot with the error i am getting on /hub.

What i've tried so far:

- Restarted Services

- Disabled Qlik Sense Service Dispatcher

     New error shows when i disable Qlik Sense Service Dispatcher :  The proxy is waiting for a new session.

- Reinstalled it many times.

- Removed all Qlik entries i found on registry (before reinstalling it.)

- Disabled IPv6

- Increased the priority of the local hosts file (just in case it tries to resolve hostname to ip - we have no DNS there)

ideas on how to fix it ?

have you tried adding hosts to the white list of the virtual proxy in the QMC?

We installed using name and added IP to white list as well as machine name (w/o domain) and domain in general
