Qlik Sense Architecture on Virtual Machines.

Hello,

I am working on an architecture proposal for my client which will look like this.

Architecture ProposalArchitecture Proposal

My client wants the servers to be virtual machines. Are there any particular restrictions in the case where all the nodes are virtual machines?

Thanks,

Emmanuel DORR

Its possible to have all the servers as virtual servers.

For better understanding, go through below link for Virtualization Best Practices.

The Error is descriptive, ensure that you have proper privilege's to run that command.

For this you can right click on CMD and click "Run As Administrator"

Hello,

i'm working on the my new architecture deployment and just have installed my Postgres dedicated server in a first step, and then installed my Central node.

In a second step, i restored my production database on the new postgreSQl Server. I try to follow the differents steps listed below

When i try to execute the "repository.exe -bootstrap -standalone -restorehostname" with administrator rights, i have the folowing error :

Thanks a lot, it works now.

I have another issue during the deployment of my rim node.

When i try to add the ri node in my central node, i have the folowing issue :

The firewall is not activate but when i try to check if port 4444 is listened, i have the following result :

On the rim node, l already checked all the Qlik Services, and the Qlik Sense repository Service cannot be launched. It automatically stoped after few seconds.

Any idea ?
