Qlik Sense desktop sharing qvf file without data

I am new to Qlik Sense. I am using Qlik Sense Desktop (without using server/enterprise version).

How do I share qvf file without sharing the (line item) data itself?

You can mail the .qvf file to another person. It is under Documents\Qlik\Sense\Apps

Yes but the other users will not be able to reload the data as they won't have the data files.

Since this is Qlik Sense Desktop we are talking about, users can edit the sheets. Therefore, it is possible to create a table with all dimensions from the underlying data set and export it to Excel. So yes, they will be able to get the data.
