Hello all,
I'm installing QlikSense May 2021 in a new server, a new single node cluster with standalone PostgreSQL DB (12.6) in Windows Server 2019. I've tried with integrated PostgreSQL installation too.
During setup QlikSense doesn't ask me to config the centralized logs, is it been deprecated or could be a setup bug?
Thanks
Hello,
From fresh installation, Qlik Sense May 2021 will deploy Postgres 12. Unfortunately, it was discovered that Postgres 12 and the Centralized Logging database are not supported and therefore the choice was made to not deploy it for fresh installation. I am not sure if and when this will be solved.
See Release Note: Logging utility does not support Postgres 12. The utility uses queries that are not compatible with Postgres 12.
Regarding upgrade to Qlik Sense May 2021, the Postgres version is not upgrade along with Qlik Sense so the Centralized Logging will continue to work.
Hope this helps!

Hey @andregas ,
as per Jamie's post, Centralized Logging will be deprecated by the end of 2021 (Deprecation of Centralized Logging in Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows )
I'm not sure the deprecation is a consequence of the issue reported by Bastien...
I hope this helps,
Riccardo
Thanks @rzenere_avvale. I hope the new monitoring apps work well than current with multinode setup.
Fingers crossed.
