Does anyone have any idea?

Nohting was altered to the enviroment in terms of firewall, updates etc.

Hello,

given that line, its trying to load the certificates for the service to start up

2 25.15.2.0 20220303T142001.818+0100 ERROR SRVHYGQLS01 e7212d12-69ec-4f76-a313-353ad12fce07 Command=Start repository;Result=-2147467259;ResultText=Error: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process 0 0 0 INTERNAL System 0 Not available Repository Not available Not available Start repository -2147467259 e7212d12-69ec-4f76-a313-353ad12fce07

Check with the windows explorer, logged on as the service user if you can reach this folder:

C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\Exported Certificates\.Local Certificates

This is where Qlik Sense is looking for the Certificates.

Then check if any of the "*.pem" files is locked by another process if you have access.

hope that helps.

best regards

Sebastian

Hello,

Is opening the files enough to check this?

Or can i see if it is locked somewhere?

Thanks

Sebastian_Linser

It's s start, usually it happens that you get an additional popup on the last folder change.

You can also use procmon, see details here just adjust the monitored foldername

Hello,

Unfortunately the problem runs deeper.

After consulting with our Qlik providers we discovered dat the repository database is corrupted.

And there is no easy fix, only to go back to a snapshot of the server from before this issue occured.

It keeps prompting that the password for user "databaserepository" is incorrect.

But we didn't alter anything on that side.

Maybe beause PostgrSQL is still on 9.6 and Qlik on June 2019

Updates about this issue will be posted.

Thanks anayway,

suggestions are still welcome!

For changing the password to what you have set in the repository.exe.config file, you can follow this article:

Let me know if that helps, otherwise open a ticket with support via the case portal and we will investigate with you together.

Hello,

even after resetting to a snapshot from a couple of days earlier.

The problem persists.

I am out of ideas and the client is unhappy.

Does anyone have any solution?

I tried all the above.

Still the same issue.

Service starts and stops.
