Set up 2-factor authentication or whitelist access by devices

1. Is there anyway to install 2-factor authentication on qlik sense enterprise on premise?

2. Is there anyway to allow just a list of IP addresses or devices to access the hub, refuse unfamiliar connections?

Thanks!

Hello!

Not out of the box with Qlik Sense by itself. Out of the box, Qlik Sense relies on Windows authentication. (Talking about on-premise for Windows here).

However, that can be customized by you. If you have an authentication system already available that uses 2-factor you can ensure people log in through this to be able to access Qlik Sense.

Here's some reading to get you started with custom authentication, though those are not ready-to-use solutions. If you require assistance with this, I would recommend getting in touch with our Consulting Services.

As for your second question:

This, too, can be achieved outside of Qlik Sense. For example by deploying a reverse proxy or other platform security that allows you to whitelist IP addresses.
