Standalone to Multinode

Hi,

I have two standalone Qlik Sense servers hosting apps. I now want to change the architecture by turning one server to Central node/ scheduler and the other as RIM/ Consumer node. Is there a way to achieve this without uninstalling and reinstalling the servers?

Thank you

Monjay

Hello @monjay07

Whatever node you nominate to be a Central Node will not have to be re-installed if you followed the standard installation procedures. The other node, however, will need to be re-installed and during the installation process be connected to the new Central Node as a rim.

Apps and such that you were serving on the "to be rim node" would need to be re-imported on the central node. Same goes for duplicating any settings and recreating streams, etc.
