Stream Admin not able to 'Create New' Task

Hi,

Have a question, can you please explain how can I replicate the default ContentAdmin roles with a 'stream specific' admin role to be assigned for stream admins who has privileges to create, read, update, delete and publish apps in their respective streams, along with the privilege of ReloadTasks? The default ContentAdmin role is to be disabled once this is setup.

We were successful in creating such a role, but the problem we face is that the said respective stream admins were not able to create new Reload Tasks. The 'Create New' button is not visible under the 'Tasks' section in QMC for these admins. Please point what are we missing.

Hope I am clear in detailing the issue.

Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,

K

I assume you have already solved this issue, but if you haven't you could try create an additional rule. The resource filter should be :  ReloadTask_*, SchemaEvent_*,CompositeEvent_*

The actions should be : CREATE

Context should be : Only in QMC.

The conditions should specify your stream admin group.

I hope this helps.

If you can't see anything in the QMC then you need a rule that provides access to the various sections.

Here is an example...
