Upgrading from Qlik Sense November 2018 to 2020 failed with error Upgrade failed. The installed patch could not be uninstalled automictically.
I encountered a issue while upgrading our Qlik Sense. Any reason why this has failed ?
I had to manually uninstall the patch and resumed installation and it worked ,but i would like know why it failed in first place so I don't encounter this in upcoming upgrades.

It's good to uninstall the patch that you have in November 2018 and try the installation again. Also, its good to try and upgrade to November 2019 before choosing a version on 2020.

@veera_a Did you install November 2020 IR first before attempting to install November 2020 patch? If so do you have a copy of the Installation logs you can share?
