I am in a dilemma and need some expertise insights. We just upgraded to Feb 2024 patch 8 with 2 nodes (1 Central and 1 consumer node). The purpose of the consumer node is for users to develop the apps and testing, while the central node is to schedule tasks and others. Central node has all the services running and is configured as manager and worker in the scheduler configuration. While consumer has engine and proxy services turned on and is configured as worker on the scheduler configuration.
The problem I have with the above (Scenario 1) configuration is scheduling reload jobs failed except for monitoring apps in QMC. Users can reload their apps via hub without any issue since it's using the consumer node.
Second scenario is to turn on the scheduler service on consumer node and update the scheduler configuration on central node to be Manager only. This configuration will reload tasks in QMC using the consumer node. However, all the monitoring apps will not reload. I encountered Unauthorized 401 error for all the monitoring apps.
At this point I am not sure what to do. Any insight is appreciated.
