Hi,
in the past when major version updates where scarce and with large gaps between them
we usualy advised our customers to wait few weeks/months before upgrading to the new version, to see if the new version bugs are taken care of in service packs and minor versions. that way if they ware bugs or problems with the new version the customer avoided them.
but now with the new version policy of qlik reagrding qliksense, we face a whole new beast.
ever y3 months there are mahor upgrades with many many new feature and benefits
and we are encuarged by qlik to upgrade our deplyoments.
the question is ....shell we do it?
shell we recomend to our clients to immidiatly upgarde. or do we tell them to wait.
if the wait the are more secure, we have seen cases (june 2019 version comes to mind) where the new version had bugs and problems.
on the other hand many of the changes are things we look forward to have
