Upgrading tRestClient without updating TOS 7.2: possible?

Hi all,

We're using pre-compiled TOS 7.2 jobs and we deploy those on our Linux servers.

The tRestClient has spring jars from 5.1.4. RELEASE which have been marked as vulnerable, therefore we would like to know if it's possible to upgrade this component, since we can't change/force the underlying jars?

Is it possible to upgrade this tRestClient and compile the job again with new component libraries? What's the other option? Upgrading to TOS 7.3? :S

Thank you in advance.

Do you have the project design/code files for the jobs? If so, you can upgrade to a new version of TOS. I am afraid that is going to be your best option. If you do not have those files, you may be able to extract them from the compiled jobs if they were included when you built them. You will not be able to change/update components within compiled jobs.
