Certification candidates may now register and take the three new Qlik Sense Certification Exams based on the June 2019 Release. The roles for the new exams are Business Analyst, Data Architect, and System Administrator.

Partners holding any Qlik Sense – June 2017, v3, v2, or v1 certifications should update with these exams in 2020, in order to meet the requirements for the Qlik Partner Program.

All previous versions of the Qlik Sense Certification Exams have been retired. Candidates who have a June 2018 exam scheduled may still take it, but are encouraged to cancel and reschedule their appointment with the latest exam.

A note about exam releases

The new Qlik Sense Certification Exams are based on the June 2019 Release of Qlik Sense. Our exams lag behind the product release, because they take 6 to 8 months to develop. We will only release new exams once per year, so the next exams are planned to be based on the June 2020 Release of Qlik Sense.

Accommodations

All Qlik Certification Exams are in English. Candidates who have difficulty because English is not their native language may request an accommodation (extra time) on the exam by emailing certification@qlik.com at least 10 days before they want to take their exam. Each individual must make a request for this exception and they should include their VUE ID, found in the Personal Information page in Qlik CertTracker when submitting their request.

I've signed up for QCC but have run into a slight problem.
With the changes to Qlik Sense for Desktop it's no longer available for use for most people, which creates a large hinderance to being able to actually do the course over time. I did most of the free courses last year when Desktop was still available 😞 

We have QS Enterprise at work but for things like adding QDBC-connetors for Access-files, loading new apps from QVF files must be done by a administrator of the system (which I'm not). This puts quite a hurdle on my ability to do them. 😞 

And as far as I could understand, the "free trial" of QS is only a month and I don't have the ability to do both the DA and BA courses in that time. Part of the reason for QCC is to be able to pace it to my availability... 

Am I missing something simple way of getting around this?

I have several different materials to I need to remove the last 2 characters to convert from Loaner Material to Material. I was able to use the Left and Index functions in an IF statement which worked for the first 4 loops, but I am not able to get it to work on the last loop. 

Is there a limit to how many IF loops I can create? 

Or does anyone know of a better way to set up this function?

I am to take the Qlik Sense System Administrator certification this year and my question is pretty straight forward:

At the office we have some study materials such as the book "Administer and Maintain Qlik Sense, July 2015 Release, Qlik Sense v2.0".

Is this book useful for me at all for the 2020 - cert?

Is there anything in this book that would be educational or is it too outdated for me to rely on any information in it?

I've just started to get into Qlikview today, and I love what I see so far.

I'm going through the training video under "Build your first Qlikview", called "Extract, Transform & Load". In this video, the presenter loads sample data for the company "Salidas". She selects a folder called 'Data", which contains 5 xls spreadsheets. I am looking for those sample spreadsheets. If I browse to "C:\Program Files\QlikView\Examples\Data\", I get only one spreadsheet called 'Sales Orders.xls'.

If anyone can tell me where I can find the sample data for Salidas, I would be forever grateful, as without it, I can't do any of the exercises in the video series.
