Addresspointlookup - German addresses found in China?

Dear all,

recently I have used Addresspointlookup. All in all it worked properly.

But I have found out that for example address from Germany have a match level of 75% and geometry found is based in China.

Here are some examples:

Have you an idea why this happened? And furthermore, what would be the solution that the German addresses get a geometry point in Germany?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Patrick

The output is definitely wrong. I never used this function but I think that your set parameter aren't correct - missing parameter, wrong order, invalid values or similar mistakes:

Ok that's strange, I don't get the same result, at least for the first address.

Can you share the first 10 as CSV/XLS?

I use your template from the community.

Yes, there a little changes. I changed the size of the chunks and store the QVD after every lookup.

Attached you find the addresses.

Maybe I can send you the QVF via e-mail?

Thank you for your support.

Regards, Patrick

Hello @Patric_Nordstrom

I did a second run of geocoding of my addresses and again I have a lot strange results.

For example an address from Canada in Slovakia:

Could you provide me your e-mail address, then I can send you the QVF? Maybe you could write a short e-mail qlik-servicecenter@be-terna.com, please?

Thank you. Regards, Patrick
