help with set anlysis

i am trying to use a var within set analysis but with the > operator rather than the = operator

can anyone help with this ?

An example:

Sum({<Date={">=$(=Date(vFromDate))<=$(=Date(vToDate))"}>} Sales)

count( {< ResponseW8 = { ">= $(=num(vMinResponse)) <= $(=num(vMaxResponse)) " } >} UBRN)

i have used this as an expression against a dimension of RequestDate

it's not showing any numbers

i have 15 mins left of virgin free wiffi

your help is app reciated
