The Network Chart only displays label when it has the place to do it. However, the space is very badly managed with 2/3 of the space totally unused :

Thank you for your feedback on ways to improve our product. While this is something we understand would be useful, it's not on the short-term roadmap. Please continue to show your support for this idea.

The network chart is open source, located here (https://github.com/qlik-oss/network-vis-chart) if you want to explore modifications. The chart is based on vis.js which may have more options for the layout and the label placement.
