As most people know you can wrap field names with spaces with either double quotes or square brackets. QlikView and Qlik Sense have different components that seem to behave differently and use these interchangeably.
Trivial ?
Not really - apart from producing consistent scripts this really should be more controlled. Nothing assists enterprise adoption more than configurable tools 😉
Can we consider either
(a) allowing the desired option to be selected e.g. in Data Manager / Editor data load process window, or better
(b) Introduce a wider user preferences capability into Qlik Sense ? QlikView of course had these. There are many behaviours that should be customizable, not just the above quote/bracket choice.
Thoughts ?
