I think it's usefull to set variables on the destination app, from the master app (using an expression)

The definition should be in the "App Navigation Link" dialog.

So I can send parameters from the master to the generated app, for example get the full selections (GetCurrentSelections)

this would also be useful for things like user comments.  if a user potentially has multiple output apps from an ODAG selector, a variable in the selector app could capture a string of text that is passed to the output and displayed in a text box.
