How to manage resources in TOS for data Integration v7.4.1 (Free version) ?

Hi,

To make a long story short : I just can't manage to play with resources in Talend Open Studio for Data Integration 7.4.1.

My ultimate goal is to host the git commit hash in a text file that would be automatically created upon git checkout, and ship it as a resource with the Talend application... Sounds great except that I can't find how and where to define resources.

The manual (v7.3) makes it look easy, except that in my case, there is no "resource" entry in the Talend repository. Not even hidden in the repository filter. Am I missing something ? Might it be a limitation of the free version ? Or was the feature stopped at version 7.3 ?

Hello,

We see you are using talend open studio for v 7.4.1 M8? Milestone version is used for testing only.

Here comes talend latest released version V 8.0.1

Could you please try to use released version to see if it works?

Hi Xdshi, and thanks for pointing this out. I will mot certainly dig into that subject. It might indeed be the reason why I can't access resources.
