PostgreSQL 14 reaches EOL in November 2026

Hello,

I have a question about the upcoming End-of-Life of PostgreSQL 14 that has been announced last week (see https://www.postgresql.org/docs/release/14.24/)

Does anyone know if there will be an update that includes a newer DB version before we reach EOL for PostgreSQL 14 on November 12, 2026? As far as I'm aware, the most recent version of QlikSense still comes with PostgreSQL 14.22.2 included.

If not, do you have any recommendations on how to proceed? We do not want to risk running an outdated system database that cannot be patched.

If possible, we would also prefer not to migrate to a separate PostgreSQL installation as discussed e.g. in this thread: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Management-Governance/Moving-a-PostgreSQL-version-14-toward-version-17...

If there are no other options, I would be very interested in hearing from someone who has successfully moved to a separate DB installation and who is willing to share their experience.
