UI "Improvements" - Talend Cloud Data Management Theme(s)

Hello,

Just in the midst of testing 2024-05, 2024-05v2 & 2024-06 versions of Talend Cloud Data Mangement - and have found the User interface is disgusting. It's mono-chromatic and hard to tell what is what.

Is there a setting in preferences that I can't find - that picks the normal theme from what we'd had in 7.3.1\8.0.1\2023-08?

Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated.

I so agree.  I hope this changes because it is awful!!!  At least give us the option to make changes. If the option is there please let us know.  Staring at a screen is hard enough but this makes it so much worse.

We certainly did understand your frustration about the new theme and already have received an update from R&D team, they have added some improvements in the studio patch R2024-07 and latest R2024-08

If want to be on the old patch R2024-XX( old theme), please follow the below process and check.

Go to Windows-->Preference-->Talend-->Updating setting-->Update URL,

Update the url to R2024-XX( old theme) at the last and click on apply.

Note: Perhaps there needs to be some manual work involved in re-aligning the components in the job.

It's UGLY af... In my company we all are very very, very disapointed with all these new "UI / UX" enhancements. 

The grid system has problems, with icons and subjobs beeing disaligned for no reasons.
There are typos in the IDE in French Language.
The contrast is bad.
Icons are bad and not distinguable enough.

The studio was super friendly since many years and now it looks like an old school conception .jar software.

Really sad.
