Good morning, I'm trying to upgrade my Qlik Sense Enterprise server (November 2025 patch 4, qliksenseserver 14.254.13) to the new May 2026 version 15.13.8. The upgrade is successful, but when I log in, I get a series of errors that prevent me from using it. I'm forced to revert to the old, working version. I've checked for errors using chatgpt, but all services are up and running. Perhaps something related to certificates, but nothing concrete that helps me resolve the issue. Can you help me? Thanks.
Hi @Qlikmik79 ,
please check this support article. It discusses the same error shown in your screenshot and provides a solution for it.
Hi @Qlikmik79
Please run IIS Crypto and verify that TLS 1.2 (client and server) is enabled. If you see TLS 1.0/1.1 enabled but 1.2 disabled or cipher suites stripped down, apply the "Best Practices" template and reboot.

I have a similar problem; upgrading from May 2025 to Nov 2025 worked fine, but upgrading from Nov 2025 to May 2026 seems to create problems. The installation was successful, but the engine service refuses to start.
@Pvaidyanathan, what do you see in the engine logs (trace and system)?

Hello,
The logs are empty under C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Engine; there are no new logs written after the upgrade. The engine service starts and stops immediately when initiated. This is the error in the event viewer.
Startup failed: Engine GetQrsSettings GET settings: Exception=SimpleHttpClient::SendRequest: Failed to connect ( GET /qrs/engineservice/local?xrfkey=ichBinEinBerlinR ) (87)
The engine service is activated in the QMC itself. I could not find anything useful in the other logs, they looked fine.
