I have downloaded the tUnpivotrow from github TalendExchange
But after extracting the zip file and putting it in the custom component folder I couldn't find this component in the palette.
I have also downloaded the component tCalender from github TalendExchange and this component is shown in the palette.
TOS: 8.0.1
jdk-20
The problem is probably you have extracted the zip file and kept the strange name with the version at start.
Please rename the folder of the component to tUnpivotRow and get rid of the version prefix.
This way I could load the component in a Open Studio 8.0.1
Hi
Make sure you have installed the right version which is work since Talend v3.1.

Shong
I have downloaded this version https://github.com/TalendExchange/Components/blob/main/archive/daztop/components/tUnpivotRow/files/v_1.1__tUnpivotRow.zip
But the component is still not shown in palette...
Hello,
With talend open studio V 8.0, please use jdk 11 instead.
For more information, please refer to this online documentation:

Hi Sabrina,
I have changed the jdk of my TOS to jdk 11.
But the tUnpivotRow component is still not shown in palette
Hello,
I will make a testing on this issue and come back to you as soon as possible.
Best regards
Sabrina
The general problem here is, the components in Talend Exchange had very different quality and the majority was never maintained (which cause a lot of work!). Nice to hear you use my tCalendar component.
I will take a look at your desired component.

The problem here was actually caused by Talend itself. It a misleading way to package the components this way.
If you are interested in my components (in this Git repo under jlolling) PLEASE ignore them there! This repo is completely out-dated and is only an archive which will never be maintained!
My components can ONLY be found in my own Git repos: https://github.com/jlolling
Here you will find a lot of repositories and the ready to use binaries (zip files) are always found at the right side in the Release section.
