Connect NPrinting with both Qlik Sense and QlikView

Hi,

I have an existing NPrinting engine that is currently connected to QlikView. I would like to add a Qlik Sense certificate to NPrinting to be able to create reports and task for both QlikView and Qlik Sense.

Is this possible?

Is there any risk for the QlikView setup to be overwritten if I install the Qlik Sense certificate? It is crucial that all the existing QlikView reports and task stays intact.

Best Regards

Lina

Hi Lina,

Yes it is possible to Connect a Qlik NPrinting app to both QliView documents and Qlik Sense apps.

Here you have a brief video that shows you how to do it

I am not aware of any risk related to Qlik Sense certificates in a QlikView environment but maybe @Ruggero_Piccoli  can give you more deteiled information

Hi,

You can create how many connections you want for each Qlik NPrinting app. Connections can be to QlikView or Qlik Sense. In the same report you can use entities from different connections at the same time.

Please always specify what version of Qlik NPrinting are you using. For example the support for multiple Qlik Sense Server connections starts from June 2019 release. With an older release you can create many connections to Qlik Sense apps but all apps must be on a single server.

I would like to suggest you to post Qlik NPrinting related questions on the Qlik NPrinting community.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
