NPrinting Connection fails November 2019 and earlier versions "connect failed" in NP engine logs

NPrinting Connections fail when attempting to reload NPrinting Connection in the NPrinting web console. The NPrinting Engine logs will contain the following similar error:

  • Status(StatusCode=Unavailable, Detail="Connect Failed")

 

Environment

  • NPrinting 2019 November and earlier versions

Resolution

  • This issue is resolved in February 2020 and later versions of NPrinting
  • Upgrade to the most recent version of NPrinting to resolve the issue and to additionally leverage all cumulative defect repairs, performance enhancements and logging updates
