Qlik Sense use HTTP, HTTPS and Web Socket to transfer the information in/out from Qlik Sense. It is very important to check if all these protocols are working correctly. Especially when there are external network policy, firewall, reverse proxy, etc in front of Qlik Sense, it is more necessary to make sure Web Socket works fine. So with the tester, all connections should be green on the return page.
Please note, this tool is not Qlik official tool, hence user needs to run it on their risk and management. To do the test, Qlik Sense server requires internet connection.

If the Websocket connectivity tester fails, then a firewall, proxy, or other 3rd party component is blocking or not yet able to support websocket connections. Further investigate the network components and browser settings involved.

This web page can be used to assess websocket connectivity to your Qlik Sense installation.
Login to the Qlik Sense Management Console and create a content library
Do so by going to the Content libraries in the top left of the Manage Content section of the QMC
Click Create New and name the new Content Library, for example, WebSocketTester.
Set up the security rule when prompted, giving access to the users that need to use it.
Upload QlikSenseWebsocketTest.html file to content library
Pick up the URL Path
For instance, /content/WebSocketTester/QlikSenseWebsocketTest.html
Tested Qlik Sense web socket connection. All should be green. ( Note that in the screen-shot since you are using localhost you are testing connectivity from localhost to localhost ; You need to use the Fully Qualified Domain Name on which you face issues for example https://mysenseserver.mydomain/. )
What to do if any of them fail?
Verify that WebSocket is enabled in the network infrastructure, such as firewalls, browsers, reverse proxies, etc.
