All Qlik NPrinting jobs that connect to QlikView are failing, but jobs that connect to Qlik Sense are fine

NPrinting has connections to both QlikView and Qlik Sense.

All connections to QlikSense are working fine.

Any publish tasks or metadata reloads with QlikView are failing.

Windows Event Logs revealed that qv.exe was crashing every single time that NPrinting tried running it, but gave no indication as to why it was crashing.  I ran fine when launched manually.

Resolution

Anti-Virus software was running on the server and was stopping qv.exe from running, verify that these folders are excluded from anti-virus scanning:

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech
C:\Program Files (x86)\QlikView
C:\Program Files\QlikView

After excluding these, QlikView-related tasks worked correctly.
