This error message is shown in QlikView Management Service and Distribution Service logs:

Failed to send message to distribution service. The message is removed from the queue. Error Details: "SendCloudDeploymentCert : Could not find Certificate" Message Type: "SendCloudDeploymentCert" Message Parameter: "4dd58cfe-18f8-4227-8d77-3babf7ff3574"

Environment

  • QlikView 12.50 and higher releases

 

Resolution

The resolution consists in forcing the recreation of the QvCloudCa certificate. Before doing this, it is recommended to create a backup copy of the certificate.

  1. Create a backup copy of the certificate:
    -Press the Windows key + R together to open the Run box.
    -Type certmgr.msc and click OK to open Certificates Manager.
    - Expand the Personal node in the left pane of the Certificates console.
    - Click on Certificates.
    - Find the QvCloudCa certificate In the right pane and right-click on it.
    - Select All Tasks -> Export.
    - Follow the Export wizard and save the certificate in a folder.
  2. Stop the QMS service
  3. Remove the QvCloudCa certificate (Right click> Delete).
  4. Start the QMS Service

 

Cause

The error message can indicate that the QvCloudCa certificate is corrupted.
