The Qlik NPrinting Designer may crash or the Designer template may get distorted while editing.
The screen is set to zoom, such as by 100%, 125% or 150% for example.
The following error is displayed:
Qlik NPrinting Designer can't find a supported reporting template editor for the file
Error message:
Unspecified error.
This is also caused when upgrading from Windows 7 OS to Windows 10.
If there is an issue with dragging and dropping objects in NPrinting Designer from Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Excel follow the steps in the Resolution.
Resolution:
If you experience random crashes when using Qlik NPrinting Designer, open your Windows Display
Settings in the Control Panel and check that the Smaller – 100% (default) is selected.
When settings of 125% or 150% are selected, Qlik NPrinting Designer may crash.
