SharePoint 365 connector in Qlik Sense SaaS does not have a function to load data from SharePoint files.  After creating a SharePoint 365 connection in Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS,  its folder and file are correctly configured.

However, it is still not possible to load the data from the SharePoint 365 file storage.

Cause

Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS relies on Qlik Web Storage Provider Connectors to connect to file-based data stored on a web storage provider. 

Currently, there are no Qlik Web Storage Provider Connectors for Microsoft SharePoint 365. 

Resolution

Three options are currently available to load the data from SharePoint.

1. Utilize Azure Blob Storage.
2. Upload the SharePoint 365 files to Microsoft Teams file then share files.  Use OneDrive Storage Provider connector to load the data from Microsoft Teams file(s). 
3. Use Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows and Qlik Web Connectors (stand-alone) to extract data from Microsoft SharePoint 365 into QVD files. Upload the QVD files to the tenant via Qlik DataTransfer.

Note, Qlik Web Storage Provider Connector  for Microsoft SharePoint 365 is on the road map for 2021.
