Qlik Sense Pivot table nodes disappear when some are expanded

Qlik Sense Pivot table nodes disappear when some are expanded

This problem occurs with Pivot tables, when the nodes are expanded as in a tree view. In some cases, it may happen that, when a specific node is expanded, the entire record (the list of nodes expanded) suddenly disappear and it is necessary to refresh the page to make it visible again.
This article explains why this happens.

This is considered as the expected behavior when the expanded node has only null values and the “Include Null Values” is not flagged for a dimension in the record.
A possible solution is to flag that option for the dimensions involved in the Pivot table and in its expressions.

This  occurs when the latest expanded node contains only null values and  the dimensions it is based on is not set to show null values.  When this happens, the entire record associated with the null value has to be canceled up to the dimension level.
Notice that QlikView pivot tables work in a different way, so it is possible that the same table is not showing this behavior in QlikView.
