In QlikView, you receive an error message "Session Lost" in the QlikView Access Point after waiting some time for an application to open.
Looking at the QlikView WebServer logs at the time this error occurs you can see the following error message:

System.Threading.ThreadAbortException: Thread was being aborted

Environment:

Cause:

A possible root cause for this issue is a timeout between the QlikView WebServer and the QlikView Server services.
If the request sent by the QlikView WebServer takes to long to be answered the QlikView Server (Default 60 seconds) then it will timeout and display "Session Lost" on the screen.

Resolution:

You can increase this timeout by following the instruction provided in this article: (look for QVSTimeout or SocketTimeOutInSecond depending of the version of QlikView you are using) Timeout Values Related To QlikView Deployment
