Unable to open managed endpoints, throwing error:

[INFRASTRUCTURE ]E: Failed to load database properties for database ID 100. [20014] (repository.c:864)

[SERVER ]E: database object 'EndpointName' not found. [20014] (repository.c:4902)

Environment

Resolution

Replicate was downgraded from version 2011.11 to 7.0 and the data directory from version 7 was not restored. The data directory from 2011.11 is not compatible with version 7.0. Best practice is to export the server level repository and save a backup copy of the data directory if you want to downgrade, for example in a test/dev environment.

  1. From the Qlik Replicate computer where you defined the task you want to export, open the Qlik Replicate command line console by doing the following:

On Windows: Go to All Programs in the Start menu and point to Qlik Replicate, then to Utilities and then select Qlik Replicate Command Line.

A command-line console is displayed with the correct prompt for Qlik Replicate.

  2. At the prompt in the command-line console, type the following:

    repctl -d data-directory exportrepository

By default, a file called Replication_Definition.json containing the exported server settings is created in the <product_dir>\data\imports folder. If you want the file to be created in a different folder, include the folder_name=path parameter in the command.
