You may have seen Qlik's new Data Works for AI story, featuring a fictional shoe retailer caught off guard by a viral demand spike, told through the people who lived through it: the one who built the data foundation, the one who scaled the insight, and the one who had to act before the window closed.
Over the next few weeks we're opening a discussion thread for each of those moments. We want to hear from our Community members:
Join the conversation wherever it resonates.
And we’re excited to give away some of our own in-demand sneakers: earn your very own pair of Qlik kicks!
Each discussion thread has its own sneaker winner: three discussion threads, three pairs of shoes, three chances to win. For every comment on each thread, you’ll be entered to win an exclusive pair of Qlik kicks. We will do a random drawing at the end of each week.

For the question: Do you trust the data you’d have to act on?
Yes, we do ! All the data linked to our Qlik environment reflect our source of data we can trust. As a adoption specialist, my work is to make sure that our users can trust the data they see on Qlik!
Do you trust the data you'd have to act on?
Before Qlik, I would say "no", because I didn't have visibility over lineage, full insight over freshness of the data, and couldn't align the jargon with the data. In the past, it was about gut-feeling, or one-side affirmations from IT stating "the data is good, trust it". That, at least for me, was like forcing down the idea of trust, without actually provide substantial context to let the user come up with the conclusion on their own, that the data was indeed trustworthy and actionable. It was almost authoritative, which is not really trust, right?
Now, with Qlik, the answer is completely different. It's a "YES!". All my previous issues were solved. I have full visibility over lineage, freshness of the data. I can enrich the experience with Glossary and terms that translates jargon with more accessible language without losing precision. One of the biggest values of Qlik is that it lets the users define what is required for the data to be trust worthy. It's about a collection of evidence that builds trust, instead of simply claiming it.
Trust means Accuracy, Completeness, Timeliness, Diversity, Validity against the the rules you setup and are relevant for your business. That's a massive thing!
Qlik was able to resolve a pain the industry was feeling for so long! In an ocean of data, what is reliable, good to be used for analysis, good to take action upon? The Qlik Trust Score compiles that information and makes it accessible to everyone. It's such a leap forward!
Qlik is by far the most advanced business platform for every data-driven business. Simply love it!

Do you trust the data you'd have to act on?
Yes I do! But with new technologies and AI we levereage our data and the result is bettter decisions for everyone.
Are you still building the same thing over and over, or have you gotten ahead of it?
Everyday something new happend, and my old dashbords are being update to receive all AI power. Customers aren't in the same speed of technologies and they need some time to adapt theirselves.
Did you make the window when it mattered, or watch it close?
Yes! Every window still open, I have a lot of work to make it, but in the end of the day, customers always are happy!
Thanks!
Glad you enjoy! 🙂
